The Doctrines of Men - Doctrines and Practices of the Church

            The term "anomalies" is referring to the unexplained absence of these obvious Bible realities in orthodox religious teachings. Even more anomalous is that fact that not only are these very important points ignored, the violation of many are practiced as church doctrine or condemned as sinful. It is a fact that even though these concepts are solidly based in scripture, the mere expression of some will get you labeled a heretic.

             The subjects contained in this section are of a nature that have strong doctrinal implications. It should be again stated that this work has no affiliations with any religious organization. This area is intended to show that the mainstream church ignores more than just text in the Bible relating to the technological nature of the Elohiym. It also violates many other important Bible principles.
             It may be assumed, by the content contained herein, that this is a direct attack on mainstream religion. For all practical purposes it is, but since the source is scripture, complaints and claims of heresy should be addressed to the one responsible for inspiring the authors of the Bible.
             The church is ignoring some glaring realities, mainly that they are in direct violation of almost all biblical doctrine. In fact, we are hard pressed to find any biblical doctrine mainstream religion is actually following. How is this possible, for the church to proudly boast that Jesus is their Savior and head of their church, yet blatantly violate his doctrine? It seems Jesus has an answer:
Matthew 15: 7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Mark 7:5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? 6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips,
but their heart is far from me. 7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. 9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

     Is faith a special gift from God or something you learn?
The Law
     Does the Bible teach that you are required to follow any laws and if so which ones?
Prayer
     Is there a type of prayer that is condemned in the Bible? And is the church practicing that condemned form?
Salvation
     What is Salvation, what are you saved from, and how are you saved?
The Holy Spirit
     Is the Holy Spirit a being and part of Holy Triad or the Force of God?
The Holy Days
     Why does the church ignore the High Sabbaths of the Bible while observing the days and practices of ancient Pagan religions?
Women in the Bible
     The status of women in history and modern times has been formed and influenced in whole, or in great part, from the religious beliefs of the times.
Time
     The questionable nature of time
Creation
     Who actually did the creating according to Bible text?

     What really caused the flood and did it change the course of history in more ways than we are told?

Church Symbols

      The many questions about the integrity of the church extend well beyond its less than divinely inspired origins. The very appearance the church presents to public has its origin in the same manmade and pagan inspired concepts as the foundations upon which it was established.

The Church Building
      The very existence of a building for sole purpose of weekly worship is without scriptural foundation, nor is the practice of weekly worship itself. The weekly practice of keeping the Sabbath, the last day of the week, as a day of rest is biblical, but gathering together to worship on any day is not. This practice was instituted by the Emperor Constantine when he actually outlawed the practice of resting on the Sabbath. This will be discussed further in this chapter in “The Holy Days”

The Church Steeple
      The presence of steeples on top of church buildings is the classic testament to the pagan origins of virtually every aspect of the church. The Bible specifically condemns having such things anywhere near any area where there is an altar to the real God, and certainly any Ch4ristian would consider a church as such.
♦ Deuteronomy 16: 21 Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the Lord thy God, which thou shalt make thee.
      The word grove is taken from ammuwd, pronounced am-mood'; a column (as standing) and tree comes from ets, pronounced ates; a tree (from its firmness); hence, wood. This is speaking to ancient custom of erecting wooden columns at pagan worship sites. This edict is repeated here:
♦ Leviticus 26:1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God.

The Cross
      The cross has similar origins in ancient worship, and history shows that the cross was in use centuries before Christ. In the British Museum is a statue of the Assyrian king Samsi-Vul, son of Shalmaneser with an almost perfect Maltese cross around his neck and a similar cross on an accompanying figure of Ashur-nasir-pal. The ancient Greek goddess Diana is pictured with a cross over her head, in much the same way the "Virgin Mary" is represented by many medieval artists. Bacchus, the Greek god of wine, is often pictured wearing a headdress adorned with crosses. Different types of crosses were used in the Mesoamerican cultures centuries before the Europeans arrived and he Egyptians and Hindus used cross symbols in abundance. There is absolutely no evidence that God's true Church ever used the cross symbol for any purpose. Nowhere does the Bible command its use and archaeologists have not found any Christian use of the symbol before that time. The Christian use of the cross did not begin until the time of Constantine, over three centuries after Christ when, after claiming to have a vision of a cross in a dream, the cross was adopted by Constantine to be the prime Christian symbol. "Thus the Labarum (the cross) took its origin, and under this glorious banner Constantine overcame his adversary near the Milvian Bridge, on 28 October, 312" (The Catholic Encyclopedia) The cross therefore became an Easter icon at the Council of Nicaea, in A.D. 325, when Constantine decreed that the Cross was the symbol of the Crucifixion and the official symbol of Christianity.
