Researchers Suggest Iraq War was Centrally Motivated from an Extraterrestrial-Inspired Religion
Dr. Michael Salla states the original “colonizing” of Iraq as the cradle of human civilization, was done with the assistance of authoritarian-minded "Aryans", as apparent inter-dimensional human looking "beings from the sky".   Aryans, were also apparently "beings from the sky" that in turn inspired Adolf Hitler's racist ideology.   Dr. Salla further states that the pre-emptive war against Iraq, was inspired by religious reasons to "prepare for an impending series of events corresponding to the 'prophesied return' of an advanced race of Extraterrestrials.

NASA to Search Files for Kecksburg UFO Incident
NASA has agreed to search its archives once again for documents on a 1965 UFO incident in Pennsylvania, a step the space agency fought in federal court.  The government has refused to open its files about what, if anything, moved across the sky and crashed in the woods near Kecksburg, Pa., 40 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.

Poll: One-Third Believe in Ghosts, UFOs
To put the roughly one-third who believe in ghosts and UFOs in perspective, it's about the same as, in recent AP-Ipsos polls, the 36% who said they are baseball fans; the 37% who said the U.S. made the right decision to invade Iraq; and the 31% who approve of the job President Bush is doing.

Another Witness to Roswell Flying Saucer Incident Tells His Story
Retired Air Force veteran Milton Sprouse clearly remembers the summer day in 1947 when he returned to Roswell Army Air Field aboard the B-29 bomber Dave's Dream from a three-day maneuver in Florida.  The Escondido resident, then a corporal and engine mechanic in the Army Air Forces could not believe what his ground crew was telling him: a UFO had crashed in the New Mexico desert, on a ranch 70 miles away.

Back to the Future in a 98-Year-Old Electric Car

Coal Use Grows Despite Warming Worries
Almost nonstop, gargantuan 145-ton trucks rumble through China's biggest open-pit coal mine, sending up clouds of soot as they dump their loads into mechanized sorters.   Coal is big, and getting bigger. As oil and natural gas prices soar, the world is relying ever more on the cheap, black-burning mainstay of the Industrial Revolution. Mining companies are racing into Africa. Workers are laying miles of new railroad track to haul coal from the Powder River Basin in Wyoming and Montana.

King Hemp
America was just starting to crawl, and hemp was such an essential crop that farmers could be fined for not growing it—even jailed during periods of shortage in the mid 1760s.   Hemp was legal tender in most of the country until the early 1800s. By 1850, over 8,000 farms of 2,000 acres or more were growing hemp, mostly where slave labor could satisfy the extreme labor-intensity of the hemp industry.
