The Answers
Who is the author?
I am Patrick
Cooke, the editor / author of The Bible UFO Connection. I am an independent
researcher in my sixth decade on this planet and finally able to present the
material I have discovered. I am not a credentialed scholar as there are no
accredited courses or degrees for the fields of research I probe. It is the
goal of the newly founded Oracle Research Institute to fill that vacuum. I have
never been abducted, never talked to aliens, and only “think’ I may have seen a
UFO from ten miles away. It is not my mission to change anyone’s beliefs. If
this work is the truth, and the mind perceiving it is spiritually opened, that
is an act of God, not a mortal. I am also the author of The Greatest Deception,
the new book based on this site. I am always available to discuss anything
related to this work or whatever you feel needs to be brought to my attention.
Thank you for visiting this site and I hope you find it enlightening.
Why was this work undertaken?
This work began as an
answer to the condemnation of believers in the unexplained by the Christian
Coalition and developed from a projected five page temporary site. After
realizing that there was more to the evidence of high technology in the Bible,
other than Ezekiel’s
wheel, it became a project destined for perpetual growth.
Why the Bible and not another work?
The reason why the Bible is
the central focus is that it is the only major “religious” writing fully indexed
and cross-referenced. We could easily put together the same site for most other
major religious writings. They all seem to say the same thing, but the literary
resources for such projects are not available.
Why try to change other’s beliefs?
We believe all beliefs
held by others are very sincere, no matter how different from our own. It is
not our intention to change those beliefs, that is something between the
individual and God. We are presenting evidence from scripture that simply
disagrees with orthodox dogma. In truth, we can find no scripture to support
most of the dogma we find in the mainstream church or that would appear on this
site. Where we do find scripture that casts doubt, we include it and debate it.

Are you claiming God is an extraterrestrial?
As you check our site you will find that we never refer to God as an
extraterrestrial race. We are not even sure that there are extraterrestrial
races. We believe that the Elohiym have been incorrectly labeled as aliens
and we do not and never have supported the concept that they are anything but the
supreme race in the universe. If there are other lesser races, the Bible says
nothing about this with the exception of angels.
Is this work another Heaven’s Gate cult?
We deeply resent this association. There is a clear disclaimer on
the first page of the site stating that we are not a religious organization.
The Bible supports nothing the Heaven’s Gate organization represented and there
is no doubt in our minds that such cults are satanically inspired. We have no
membership, ask for no funding and we are not looking for members. We also equate
suicide with murder and consider your inference an insult. We are trying to
present information, not get to some imaginary heaven or take anyone to such a
place. The Bible very clearly states that the meek shall inherit the Earth.
A universally controversial subject.
The area of reality we are presenting is,
beyond a doubt, the single most controversial subject one could find. It
challenges every aspect of the status quo in religion, science, education,
society, and philosophy, just to name a few. If what we are asserting the Bible
says is true, it qualifies as the greatest deception in the history of mankind.
An answer to praise.
We are grateful for the many generous
comments we have received, but if what we have presented is the truth, then we
are only messengers. We only copied the words, looked up a
few of them and made some comments. The format and scope of this work is
something we
neither planned, nor would have thought to pursue. We take no credit for this
and, in fact, it
was so fascinating to put together, we would have gladly paid for the
experience, but no one
has sent a bill.
A blanket
condemnation answer.
We receive condemnations of the entire work from time to time. We
present our case using over half a million words while most of these letters
contain only two or three sentences. Which one of us has best fulfilled the
biblical mandate to prove all things? Our case is simple, if we are accused of
being wrong, it is up to the accuser to prove us wrong. And we are very careful
not to accuse others of blasphemy. Would not a false charge of blasphemy carry
more serious consequences than the very act itself? If our detractors don’t
feel they need to prove our errors, offer a suggestion. Just throw the whole
Bible away, one prefers doing it a verse at a time. If they do, they can start
with this one: 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is
good.
