Lights are the most common aspect of the hundreds of descriptions of the appearance of the Elohiym and their flying objects. In their 'natural' state, Yhovah and the Malak, the angels, both exhibit a glowing or otherwise illuminated appearance.

1:6 And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

Fiery Seraphim
8:15  Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
            Seraphim dwell in a great and terrible wilderness.

Gleaming Servants
104:4  Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:     
Yhovah makes his angels angels, (it's there twice), and his servants flashing fire. 
            Flaming  = flash.  This presents the possibility that there is another form of being serving the Elohiym besides the angels.  See Hebrews 1:7  

Isaiah
Fiery Seraphim
14:29  Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.
            Fiery and serpent = seraphim.  

Fiery Seraphim
30:6  The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon  the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.
            Fiery and serpent = seraphim.  

Ezekiel
Yhovah Appears As Bright Glowing Metal
1:27  And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.
            He had the appearance of polished metal and he glowed brilliantly all around from head to toe.

Brilliance And Rainbows
1:28  As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.   And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
             The brilliance all around Yahweh was like a rainbow and Ezekiel heard him speak.  

Yhovah  Appears Brilliant And Metallic
8:2  Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.
            Yhovah has the appearance of brightly glowing, polished metal.

Gleaming Face And Shining Eyes
10:6  His body also was like the Beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
             Daniel encounters a man clothed in linen and who had fine golden armor.  His body was like a jewel, his face was gleaming, his eyes were glowing, his arms and feet were like copper colored metal, and his voice was very loud.
