Glyphs
Throughout the world our ancestors left clues
about their world, and glyphs, or carvings survived more than any other form
of expression. Here are two sets of glyphs, one covering an area of
mere feet, the other covering miles. What they represent and why they
were made is a matter of interpretation.

The
Nazca Desert is a high plateau about sixty miles long and five miles
wide on the coast of Peru, some 250 miles south of Lima.
On the Nazca plateau there is a collection geoglyphs, drawings on
plateau basin and surrounding mountains, that can only be defined from a high altitude, and
