Clouds

If it looks like a duck, waddles like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck.  If it flies like a UFO, glows like a UFO, and spins like a UFO, 4000 years ago, it's probably a a glowing, spinning cloud

            Clouds are the most common descriptions of the flying vehicles of the Elohiym.  This is not surprising considering the probable size and often-referenced density in daylight hours.  The word most often used in the Old Testament for cloud is `anan, pronounced aw-nawn'; a cloud (as covering the sky), i.e. the nimbus or thunder-cloud.  The descriptions as a dark cloud, thick cloud, and dark water all allude to a solid object in the sky.  Since there were no solid flying objects 2000 to 4000 years ago and the only things close were thunder or storm clouds, this is a logical relation.  Though there are those that may cling to the belief that these are actually clouds, the flight characteristics, glowing at night, and other anomalous behavior, leaves such a narrow view very much in doubt.  Perhaps the most important reference to clouds is that Jesus will return with an army in the clouds.  If these clouds are not the fluffy kind but very sophisticated flying craft, as the Bible records, then this would seem to have great relevance to properly identifying that army.  When Bible text says that Yhovah rides a swift cloud are we to believe that he is literally sitting atop a cloud speeding through the sky?  When the cloud turns to fire at night are we to accept that it catches on fire even though clouds can't burn?  And when stays in a stationary position for months, catching fire every night and burning out every morning are we really talking about a cloud?  No, this, or these are not clouds.  They are only named such because no one had ever heard about flying saucers, UFOs, spacecraft or star ships.  They didn't even have balloons.  All they had that big in the sky were clouds so that's what they called them. 

SPLENDOR APPEARS IN THE CRAFT
            EXODUS  16:10  And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.
            Glory is directly associated with the flying craft.  The thundercloud like object flies into encampment of the Israelis from the desert.  

MOSES ENTERED THE VEHICLE
            EXODUS  24:18  And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
            Moses goes up to the craft that is covering the mountain and enters it. Though not the only instance of men entering this craft, it is the first thus lending more credence to the physical aspects of the craft since it will accommodate humans.  

YHOVAH DESCENDS AND HOVERS
            EXODUS  34:5  And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord
             Yhovah descends and placed himself there.

THE HOVERING VEHICLE GLORY AND LIGHT
           EXODUS  40:34  Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.  35  And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.. 36  And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:  37  But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.  38  For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
            The flying object remained in the presence of the nation wherever it went.  

THE VEHICLE PROVIDES SHADE AND LIGHT  
            NUMBERS  9:16  So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.
            The vehicle provides shade during the day and illumination at night.       

THE VEHICLE ASCENDS AND HOVERS
            NUMBERS  9:17  And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.  
            The people camp until the vehicle ascends and moves and reset the camp where it stops and hovers.   

THE VEHICLE HOVERS FOR DAYS
            NUMBERS  9:18  At the commandment of the Lord the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the Lord they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents. 19  And when the cloud  tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the Lord, and journeyed not.   
            The people do not travel unless the vehicle moves.   

THE VEHICLE FLIES DAY AND NIGHT
            NUMBERS  9:20  And so it was, when the  cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the Lord they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the Lord they journeyed.  21  And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. 
            Whether day or night the people respond to the movements of the vehicle.    

THE VEHICLE HOVERS FOR MONTHS
            NUMBERS  9: 22  Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining hereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.
            It is made clear that the movement of the people is dependent on the flight of the craft. The  word ' upon ' when used in the preceding text is taken from the word ' al ' which means above or over.  This means that the craft is hovering in the air over the tabernacle for as much as a year at a time.  When it ascends higher and flies off, they follow it.  

TAKEOFF AND LANDING
            NUMBERS  10:11  And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony. 12  And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.
            A pattern of moving from place to place that goes on for forty years following the ascending and descending craft. 
   
YHOVAH HOVERS OVER
            NUMBERS  10:34  And the cloud of the Lord was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.
            The craft is hovering over as they are breaking camp.

AERIAL GUIDANCE
            DEUTERONOMY  1:33  Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.
            It is pointed out that Yhovah scouted the area before the people in the flying vehicle to find a place to camp.
            
A MOUNTAIN AGLOW
            DEUTERONOMY  4:11  And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.  
            In the immediate vicinity of the glowing mountain is a group of solid flying objects.  The mountain was glowing so brightly it lit up the whole sky.

FIRE OF THE CLOUD
            DEUTERONOMY  5:22  These words the Lord spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. 
            Yhovah spoke to the assembly from the glowing object and the dark object.

A LITTLE CLOUD
            1 KINGS  18:44  And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.
            A small cloud rises out of the ocean.

OBTRUSIVE SPLENDOR
            2 CHRONICLES  5:13  It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;  14  So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
            This is a repeat of the cloud disturbing the duties of the priests. See 1 Kings 8:10

GOD CLOAKS THE THRONE
            JOB  26:9  He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
            God cloaks the throne and expands his dark object.  Holdest back = cover in secrecy.

SHINING CLOUDS
            JOB  37:15  Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
            How does God make his cloud shine?

ELOHIYM'S POWER IS IN THE SKY 
            PSALMS  68:34  Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
            Elohiym’s power is in the sky.  Clouds = sky. 

NIGHT LIGHT
            PSALMS  78:14  In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.
            Elohiym led the exodus from Egypt with a thundercloud like flying vehicle and illuminated the night.

STRONG FOOD FROM THE CLOUDS
            PSALMS  78:23  Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,  24  And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.  25  Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.      
            From the sky he rained a strange grain that was strong food.  Angel is taken from the word 'abbiyr' which means strong. 

THUNDER CLOUDS AND DARKNESS          
            PSALMS  97:2  Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
            Yhovah throne is in a dark flying craft resembling a thundercloud.

CLOUDS AS CHARIOTS
            PSALMS  104:3   Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: 
            Yhovah makes thick clouds his vehicles and travels on the edge of the wind.

A GLORIOUS CANOPY
           ISAIAH  4:5   And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
            Yhovah will place an object by day over Mount Zion that will be a glorious canopy.  At night it will appear  glowing brilliantly.   Defense = Canopy.  Shining = brilliancy.  Flaming  = glowing.

YHOVAH RIDES A SWIFT CLOUD
            ISAIAH  19:1  The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
            Yhovah rides on a swift thundercloud like craft.

FLYING IN DARK OBJECTS
            ISAIAH  60:8  Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows
            Who are these that fly like a cloud.  Cloud = envelope, darkness or density.

EL INSIDE A CLOUD
            LAMENTATIONS  3:44  Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.
           El has screened himself with a thundercloud to cover prayer.  Should not has been added.  Pass through = cover.

GLOWING SPINNING METALLIC CRAFT
            EZEKIEL  1:4  And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
            A rushing windy great thundercloud like flying craft flew out of the north.  The vehicle had the appearance of brilliant glowing fire all around it and the center of the illumination the vehicle was polished metal.

DARKNESS AND FIRE
            JOEL  2:2  A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.  3  A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.  
            This is an apparent reference to the sky army.

THICK DARK LOW FLYING CLOUDS
            ZEPHANIAH  1:15  That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 
            Darkness is often associated with the flying craft. 

A VERY BRIGHT CLOUD HOVERS
            MATTHEW  17:5  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
            A radiant cloud enveloped them in a brilliant haze and the Father spoke from the cloud.

THE TRANSFIGURATION CLOUD
            MARK  9:7  And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. 8  And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. 
            This is known as the “Transfiguration”.  Jesus tells his apostles that some of them will see the realm of God before they die.  Two men appear with Jesus and a cloud enveloped them with a brilliant haze and suddenly the two men disappear.

MEN  ENTER THE CLOUD            
            LUKE  9:34  While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.  35  And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.   
           The probable cause for the change in Christ's appearance is illumination from this vehicle.

UNDER THE CLOUD
            1 CORINTHIANS  10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;  2  And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
            Paul recounts how the people were led out of Egypt by the cloud and passed through the sea.  Baptized = was added.

A BRILLIANT ANGEL DESCENDS CLOTHED IN A CLOUD
            REVELATIONS  10:1  And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
            An angel descends from heaven standing on a fiery platform.  Pillar = base.

WITNESSES ASCEND INTO THE SKY
            REVELATIONS  11:11  And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
            The two witnesses after being resurrected hear a great voice from the sky and ascend into the sky in a cloud.

THICK CLOUDS

A SOLID FLYING OBJECT
            EXODUS  19:9  And the Lord said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord.
            The word 'thick' is taken from 'ab meaning density or an envelope.  The word 'cloud' is taken from the word `anan which means thunder-cloud.  The density of this object and the fact that it stays in position for long periods shows that it is called a cloud only because it is a large object flying in the sky.  Since the only large things flying around in the sky in 1200 BC are in fact clouds this is the name it is given.   Yhovah tells Moses that He comes in the flying object so that the people will pay attention and believe in Him, Yhovah.  ' with thee ' in the phrase speak with thee and ' thee ' in believe thee were added.  Yahweh is not saying the people will hear and believe in Moses.  Yahweh clearly states the presence of this object is being used by Him to impress the people.

ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES
   .        EXODUS  19:16  And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
            Yhovah lands the flying craft on the mountain with booming noise, flashing lights, and a sound like a loud ram’s horn that strikes fear into the people.  Distinct lights and sounds are now associated with the craft.        

YHOVAH'S GLOWING SOLID FLYING HOUSE         
            2 SAMUEL  22:12  And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies. 13  Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled. 
            This appears to be a description of a circular fleet of objects arranged around a main object described as Yhovah’s pavilion or mobile dwelling.  In front of this grouping appear brilliant flashing lights and glowing objects.  

YHOVAH DWELLS IN A DARK SHINY FLYING OBJECT
            PSALMS  18:11  He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. 
            This is reference to a pavilion which is a mobile living space.  This pavilion is a dark shiny swiftly moving object.  Secret place = scud, low dark, cloud. 

BRIGHT LIGHTS SHINE BEFORE HIM
            PSALMS  18:12  At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.
            Brightness shines before his dense vehicle and is accompanied by glowing objects.

PILLARS

FIERY PLATFORMS
            EXODUS  13:21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: 22  He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
            A platform flown by Yhovah resembling a thunder cloud that glows brightly at night leads the nation of Israel out of Egypt Cloud = thundercloud, Pillar = column or base of column ie, platform, Light = to be luminous.  The book of Exodus is where we get the first indication that God uses physical flying objects as a mode of transportation.  It is described as a pillar of a cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night. The word pillar is translated from `ammuwd, Pron. am-mood; a column as standing; also a stand, i.e. platform. This means that this could either be a column or a platform that had the appearance of a cloud in the daylight and when the sun went down it lit up. And it is staying close to the people, in other words hovering.  When considered in light of descriptions not yet presented the platform seems a more logical choice.
           
AERIAL HARASSMENT
            EXODUS  14:24  And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians
            The flying object wreaks havoc on the Egyptian camp.  An important thing to understand about this craft is that it is one object that changes appearance form day to night not two objects.   Troubled = hamam, pronounced haw-mam', properly, to put in commotion. 

FLYING CRAFT OF THE EXODUS
            NEHEMIAH  9:12  Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go. 13  Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:
            The actions of the flying vehicle at exodus are recalled.  

A GLOWING PLATFORM
            NEHEMIAH  9:19 Yet thou in thy manifold mercies for sookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to shew them light, and the way wherein they should go.
            The exodus vehicle recalled again.  

THE EXODUS PLATFORM
            PSALMS  99:7  He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
            Yhovah spoke to them from a thundercloud like platform.

PLATFORM DESCENDS AND HOVERS
            EXODUS  33:9  And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the  tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. 10  And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
            The craft that was hovering over the mountain now flies and hovers over the tabernacle. Yhovah speaks to Moses from it.       

THE SECOND COMING

JESUS COMES IN THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY
            MATTHEW  24:30   And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
            There will be an indication of Jesus in the sky and he will come in the clouds of the sky.

COMING IN THE CLOUDS
            DANIEL  7:13  I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
            Jesus is seen coming in the clouds in the sky to the Ancient of days.

JESUS COMING IN THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY
            MATTHEW  26:64   Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
            Jesus said he would come in the clouds of the sky.

JESUS COMING IN THE CLOUDS WITH POWER AND GLORY
            MARK  13:26  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.  27  And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
            Jesus will be seen come in the clouds. Jesus will send his angels to pick up his selected people from the four corners of the Earth from the extremities of the sky.

JESUS COMING IN THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY
            MARK  14:62  And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
            This is a reference to the vehicles of the Second Coming.

JESUS COMING IN A CLOUD WITH POWER AND GLORY
            LUKE  21:27  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
            Jesus will come on a cloud.   

JESUS IS TAKEN UP INTO A CLOUD
            ACTS  1:9  And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
            Jesus is taken up into the bottom of a cloud and they lost sight of him.

MEET JESUS IN THE CLOUDS IN THE AIR
            1 THESSALONIANS  4:17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
            People will be taken up into the clouds in the air.   

JESUS WILL COME WITH THE CLOUDS
            REVELATIONS  1:7  Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
            Jesus comes with the clouds.

JESUS ON A WHITE CLOUD
            REVELATIONS  14:14    And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.  15  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.  16  And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
           John sees Jesus sitting on a white cloud.
