Genesis
THE ELOHIYM
1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the
earth.
This being the first verse in the Bible is also the first time the
word God is used and a vital key to understanding the nature of this God that
has just created the Earth and the sky. That key is that this word God is
translated from the Hebrew word Elohiym the plural of the word elowahh
THE ARMY OF YHOVAH
2:1 Thus the heavens
and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
This verse shows another aspect of the nature of these supreme
beings, they have an army. The word host is taken from 'tsaba', which literally
means an army. This army is spoken of almost 300 times from the creation to
Armageddon with the God Yhovah as its supreme commander. Although it does
function as a fighting army this verse shows that combat is only one of its
functions. See BEINGS
YHOVAH CLOAKS THE GARDEN
3:24
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the
east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way,
to keep the way of the tree of life.
The
cherubim, which appears to be some sort of device rather than a being, is placed
to protect the Tree of life in the garden. This device or devices is described
as flashing and either rotating or having a constant 360 degree range of
coverage. The cherubim are mentioned throughout the Bible many times as having
protective properties and performing various tasks. The Tree of Life by its
very existence offers a very interesting insight into the untold side of man as
a spiritual being as profiled in the Bible. Notice God didn't move the Garden,
just protected it. Since we don't see any unknown flashing devices protecting a
piece of land in our modern world we can't enter then are we to assume that God
cloaked it and it's still there? Flaming = flashing.

A DIVINE ABDUCTION
5:24
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
"Enoch
walked with God " is a simple statement and seems to mean what it says. "God
took him" is more complicated. It is the first of several "divine abduction"
incidences and shows that God does take on passengers from time to time.

THE TOWER OF BABEL
11:5
And the Lord came down to see the city and the
tower, which the children of men builded.
6
And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language;
and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which
they have imagined to do. 7
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not
understand one another's speech.
This is the first of two attempts mankind makes to get into space,
this time by building the Tower of Babel. Man is united by a common language and
is trying to build a spire that will reach to the stars, something God finds
unacceptable. Here is the first example of a descending God. Since the Lord is
coming down then the Lord must be up. Throughout the pages of the Bible God is
coming down although here the location of origin is not specified. And "let
us go down" implies that there is a need for some number of entities to
accompany him and that it is necessary to physically go to the location. This
is also the first time we see that God must descend to get to the ground as
opposed to just appearing or viewing from a remote location.
A GLOWING OBJECT PASSES OVER
15:17
And it came to pass, that, when
the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp
that passed between those pieces.
This is the first indication that a glowing flying object is
associated with the Elohiym. The word 'passed' is more properly rendered
'passed over'. Furnace = fire pot. Smoking = vapor. Lamp = shining. Burning
= fire. So what is being said is that something resembling a shining vaporous
firepot passed over after dark. See

BURNING SULPHUR FROM THE SKY
19:24 Then
the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord
out of heaven.
Yhovah drops fiery substances and objects from the sky as a means
of destruction is an act recorded many times in Biblical text. The word
'brimstone means sulphur or sulphur-like, obviously relating to the burning
effect of the substance. See

AN ANGEL CALLS FROM THE SKY
21:17
And God heard the voice of the lad; and the
angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee,
Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

22:11 And the
angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and
he said, Here am I.

JACOBS LADDER
28:12
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it
reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
13
And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy
father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give
it, and to thy seed;
This is known as
Jacob's Ladder. Angels are ascending and descending from the sky. Ladder =
staircase. "on it" was added. This is the first in which anything is coming
and going from the sky. The god Yhovah is present speaks to Jacob. 'Above it"
was added. See John
