Other Craft

Flying furnaces, burning bushes, eagles wings, smokes, stars, and other objects are some of the other descriptions the ancient authors use to describe the fleet of the Elohiym.

GLOWING OBJECT PASSES OVER
             GENESIS  15:17  And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
            This is perhaps the first indication that a glowing flying object is associated with God.  The word 'passed' is more properly rendered 'passed over'.  Furnace = fire pot., Smoking = vapor.  Lamp  = shining.  Burning = fire.  So what is being said is that something resembling a shining vaporous firepot passed over after dark. 

THE BURNING BUSH
            EXODUS  3:2  And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3  And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.  4  And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
            A glowing object on the ground resembling a bramble from which Yhovah speaks to Moses.  Note that he sees light that seems to be a fire but is not consuming the object, in other words glowing.  Since in other text God is contacts mankind in glowing flying objects and not glowing bushes this is something on the ground other than a burning bush. Further examination of the method God uses to present himself will show that this is more likely a flying craft that is on the ground.  Bush = bramble. 

AERIAL RESCUE           
            EXODUS  19:4  Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
            Yhovah reminds them of how he dealt with Egypt and He associates flight with the exodus.  ' you '  and ' you unto myself' ' were added. ' bare '  means to lift ) Another way this verse can be read is;  You saw what I did in Egypt and how I flew.  Yhovah  impresses His power of flight and the devastation he inflicted on the Egyptians.        

A DANGEROUS PERIMETER
            EXODUS  19:12  And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the   mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death: 13  There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.
             Yhovah warns Moses that the area near the landing sight is dangerous and to keep the people away.  This is the first time the power connected to this craft takes on a real physical nature.   
           
YHOVAH  DESCENDS WITH GREAT COMMOTION
             EXODUS  19:18  And Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. 19  And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
            The whole mountain is enveloped in a glowing smoky vapor, the mountain is vibrating rapidly, and the vehicle is emitting the sound of a loud ram’s horn.  The vehicle causes vibrations.   

EXTREME DANGER AROUND THE CRAFT
            EXODUS  19:21  And the Lord said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the Lord to gaze, and many of them perish.  22  And let the priests also, which come near to the Lord, sanctify themselves, lest the Lord break forth upon them.  23  And Moses said unto the Lord, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.  24  And the Lord said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the Lord, lest he break forth upon them.  25  So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.
            Yhovah calls Moses up to specifically warn him about the extremely dangerous environment around the craft and tells him to warn his people.

YHOVAH RIDES A CHERUB AND FLIES
            2 SAMUEL  22:10  He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.  11  And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
            The 'thick darkness' under his feet can be rendered as low clouds which ties into the next verse.. Yhovah rides on a 'cherub' and flies on the edge of the wind.   This could indicate a smooth soaring-like flight as with a glider.  Wings = extreme edge

CHARIOT OF THE CHERUBIM
            1 CHRONICLES  28:18  And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the Cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
             Is this to be a representation of Yhovah’s flying vehicles?  

YHOVAH FLIES A CHERUB ON THE WIND
            PSALMS  18:10  And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
            Yhovah flies on a cherub and rapidly on the wings of the wind.  Second fly = to dart or fly rapidly.

SAFETY IN THE SHADE OF ELOHIYM'S WING
            PSALMS  36:7  How excellent is thy loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
            Shadow = shade.

PROTECTING WING
            PSALMS  57:1  Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.  2  I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
            The wing of Elohiym provides protection.   Elohiym is elevated.  

UNDER THE WINGS
            PSALMS  91:4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
            Feathers = wing.

CLOUDS AS CHARIOTS
            PSALMS  104:3   Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: 
            Yhovah makes thick clouds his vehicles and travels on the edge of the wind.

FIRMAMENT OF HIS POWER
            PSALMS  150:1  Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
            Elohiym is in a holy place that is an expanse.

A GLORIOUS CANOPY
           ISAIAH  4:5 And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
            Yhovah will place an object by day over Mount Zion that will be a glorious canopy.  At night it will appear  glowing brilliantly.   Defense = Canopy.  Shining = brilliancy.  Flaming  = glowing.

FLYING HORSES
             JOEL 2:4  The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. 5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
Horses= swift.

SIGNS IN THE SKY
             JOEL  2:30  And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.  31  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.
            Yhovah will display wonders in the sky including fire and smoky clouds.  

A FLYING ROLL
            ZECHARIAH  5:1  Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.  2  And he said unto me, What seest thou?  And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.
             Zechariah sees a flying roll 35 feet long and 18 feet wide.

A MOVING AND HOVERING STAR
            MATTHEW   2:9  When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it  came and stood over where the young child was.
            A star moves through the sky and hovers over Jesus. 

FLASHING LIGHT IN A BUSH 
            ACTS  7:30  And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
            This is referring to the first recorded encounter of Moses with the Elohiym.

AN APPARATUS DESCENDS FROM THE SKY
            ACTS  10:11  And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
             Peter sees craft descending from the sky.  Vessel = apparatus.

THE APPARATUS ASCENDS INTO THE SKY
            ACTS  10:16  This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
            The craft ascended into the sky.

AN APPARATUS DESCENDS FROM THE SKY
            ACTS  11:5  I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
            Peter describes the encounter mentioned in verse 10:11.
