JESUS WILL COME WITH THE CLOUDS
1:7 Behold, he cometh
with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and
all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Jesus comes with the clouds.
JESUS AS AN ELOHIYM
John is seeing Jesus in his true appearance. There seems to be no
reason why John is allowed to see him while such a look would have killed
Moses. The Holy Spirit, which John received at Pentecost must provide immunity
that a normal human does not possess. See

1:14 His head and his
hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of

Jesus has white hair and his eyes were like flashing lightning.

A PORTAL IN THE SKY
4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in
heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking
with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be
hereafter.
A portal opens in the sky. A loud voice speaks to John.

A SEA OF GLASS IN THE THRONE
4:6 And
before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst
of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before

A broad expanse like transparent ice is in the middle of the
throne. There are devices like the ones described by Ezekiel around the throne.
EZEKIEL'S LIVING CREATURES
4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second
beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast
was like a flying eagle. 8
And the four beasts had each of them six
wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and
night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to
come. 9
And when those beasts give glory and honour
and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
The descriptions coincide with Ezekiel's encounter. The six wing
beasts are called seraphim in Isaiah

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a
name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The
Word of God. 14
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in
fine linen, white and clean.
The army of Jesus comes
out of the sky. Whether Jesus and his army are riding white horses or in
white vehicles can only be determined in the context of the overall revelation.

THE LAST GREAT BATTLE
19:17
And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he
cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of
heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of
mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh
of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered
together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles
before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast,
and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of
fire burning with brimstone. 21
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which
sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their
flesh.

having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
