HOLY SPIRIT - HOLY GHOST

        The concept of the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost as an individual entity that is part of a Trinity including the Father and Jesus is a dogma not supported in biblical text.  It was never mentioned by the prophets or the apostles and was actually contradicted by the words of Jesus himself.  The concept of the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost as a force projected by God as a form of spiritual contact and paranormal power is well supported in Biblical text and clearly described as a source of power and guidance by prophets and apostles alike.  It is well documented in theological environs that this doctrine is shaky at best and only accepted as doctrine through a constant presence in doctrinal development.  In simple terms, it is from man, not the Bible.  Such a powerful entity with equal status to the Supreme Elohiym, would certainly have at least a name or some description of it's individual personality.  It is almost always described as the device of the will of the Elohiym rather than a supreme partner in an exclusive triad of this race.   The name Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit are from the same words.

THE HOLY SPIRIT  

Psalms 
        51:11  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Isaiah 
        63:10  But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. 11  Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?

Luke 
        11:13  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Ephesians 
        1:13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

        3:5  Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;        

        4:30  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

1 Thessalonians 
        4:8  He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy 
Spirit.

HOLY GHOST

Matthew 
        1:18  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.  19   Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.  20  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

        3:11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose 
shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

        12:31  Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.  32   And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

        28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mark 
        1:8  I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

        3:29  But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

        12:36  For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Luke 
        1:15  For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

        1:35  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

        1:41  And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:

        1:67  And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,

        3:16  John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

        3:22  And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. 
                          
        4:1  And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,        

        12:10  And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

        12:12  For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.          

John 
        1:33  And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

        7:39  (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

        14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

        15: 26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

        4:31  And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

        5:3  But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

        5:32  And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

        6:3  Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.  4  But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.  5  And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

        7:51  Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.  52  Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:  53  Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.  54  When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.  55  But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

        8:15  Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16  (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 17.  Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. 18  And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,  19  Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

        9:17  And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

        9:31  Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

        10:38  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

        10:44  While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.  45  And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 46  For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,  47  Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

        11:15  And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16  Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized  with the Holy Ghost.

        11:24  For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

        13:2  As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3  And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.  4  So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence  they sailed to Cyprus.

        13:9  Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,

        13:52  And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

        15:8  And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

        15:28  For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

        16:6  Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,

        19:2  He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

        19:6   And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

        20:22  And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 23  Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

        20:28  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

        21:11  And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliverhim into the hands of the Gentiles.
      
        28:25  So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word: "The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers,  26  "saying, `Go to this people and say: "Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you will see, and not perceive;
        Quoting Isaiah 6:8  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?'' Then I said, "Here am I! Send me.''  9  And He said, "Go, and tell this people: `Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.'

Romans 
        5:5  Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
        
        9:1  I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

        14:17  For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

        15:13  Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

        2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
        
        6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
        
        12:3  Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
